Postdoctoral Fellowship in Maternal and Child Nutrition

The Division of Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University is seeking applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in Maternal and Child Nutrition (MCN) funded by a training grant from the National Institutes of Health. This is the longest-standing training program devoted to maternal and child nutrition in the United States. It brings together faculty across the disciplinary spectrum of nutrition – including molecular nutrition, human nutrition and metabolism, community nutrition, and international nutrition – to advance the nutrition and health of mothers and children.

Research will be conducted under the supervision of one or more of the MCN training program faculty. Emphasis will be placed on leading original research manuscripts; career development; and transition toward independent funding and an independent research career. Opportunities are available for classroom-based training and professional development in teaching, grant writing, scientific communication, and leadership. This position is based in Ithaca, NY. This is a full-time position, renewable on an annual basis, based on performance and continuation of funding. US citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.
